Job summary

Qualifications

• Specialized nursing diploma required.
• Active RN license in state of practice.
• Bachelor’s degree BSN strongly preferred or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Use nursing process to address physical, psychological, emotional, and social needs of patients.
• Develop patient care plans with patient and designated partner(s).
• Collaborate with co-workers and inter-professional teams to ensure safe, high-quality care.
• Provide education to patients and families and assess learning needs.
• Participate in safety and quality committees and apply EBP in practice.
• Maintain accurate health information documentation.
• Support discharge planning and post-discharge needs.
