Job summary

Jefferson Health is seeking a professional nurse who uses the nursing process to address the physical, psychological, emotional, and social needs of diverse patients. Develops care plans with patients and designated partners, respecting cultural beliefs and values.

You will collaborate with inter-professional teams, participate in safety and quality improvement, and mentor staff. This full-time role requires an active PA RN license and a specialized nursing diploma.

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• Knowledge of patient- and family-centered practice and collaboration with patients and families.
• Cultural awareness and ability to connect with diverse backgrounds.
• Effective communication and teamwork in clinical settings.
• Active RN license in the state of Pennsylvania (PA).

Responsibilities

• Interact with co-workers, patients, and families with a focus on respectful care.
• Partner with patients and families to identify learning needs and provide education.
• Use information technology to communicate, monitor outcomes and support patient safety.
• Work within nursing and inter-professional teams to ensure quality care.
• Participate in safety and quality improvement initiatives and clinical committees.
