Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a specialized diploma.
• Knowledge of patient- and family-centered care approaches.
• Cultural awareness and respectful communication with diverse patients.
• Effective communication skills and appropriate delegation within teams.
• Knowledge of patient assessment and care planning.
• Understanding of health information documentation and basic data use.
• Current BLS certification and PA RN license.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with patients, families, and staff to deliver patient-centered care.
• Educates patients and families on learning priorities and care plans.
• Uses information systems to document care and monitor outcomes.
• Works in inter-professional teams to ensure safe, compassionate care.
• Participates in safety and quality improvement committees and feedback.
