Job summary

St. Joseph’s/Candler Health System is seeking a Staff Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered care using the Nursing Process in a hospital setting. You will manage assigned personnel and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.

Required include an Associate Degree in Nursing, active RN license in the state of practice, and BLS certification; ACLS within 12 months of hire. At least 2 years' Med/Surg or Critical Care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license in state of practice required.
• 2 years Medical/Surgical and/or Critical Care experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS within 12 months of start date.

Responsibilities

• Assess and document patient status across physical, psycho-social, growth, functional measures.
• Develop and implement care plans with the health care team based on diagnoses and goals.
• Educate patients using teach-back to improve outcomes.
• Lead evidence-based clinical interventions to improve patient outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory guidelines, and performance indicators.
