St. Joseph's/Candler is seeking a Nurse Manager to coordinate, facilitate, and assess the quality of care across the hospital during their shift.

The role supports Nurse Managers in ensuring compliance with Nursing Practice standards to promote optimum health outcomes. The ideal candidate will have an Associate's in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred), 3-5 years in acute care nursing with management experience, and active licensure plus national certification, BLS, and ACLS.

Qualifications

• Associates in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's in Nursing is preferred.
• 3-5 years acute care nursing, including nurse management experience, is required.
• Professional license with state of practice is required; national certification, BLS and ACLS are required.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate, facilitate, and assess quality of care during shift.
• Represent Administration and Nursing Services to staff, patients, families and visitors.
• Exercise independent judgment in patient needs assessment and set clinical priorities.
• Coordinate patient placement/transfer with relevant departments and scheduling of cases.
• Monitor staffing levels and skill mix, reporting variances to managers.
• Ensure timely rounds, supply retrieval, and handoffs to ensure safe patient care.
