You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care according to professional standards, caring for diverse patient populations with empathy and clinical expertise.

The role emphasizes effective teamwork, accurate documentation, and ongoing education for patients and families, with responsibilities expanding toward RN coding after 12 months.

Qualifications

• Requires ADN or nursing diploma.
• Florida RN license or endorsement.
• Position transitions to RN job code after 12 months.
• Must hold BLS Healthcare Provider card and maintain.
• Maintain other unit certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care with assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Demonstrate safe medication administration to patients.
• Delegate and supervise patient care activities within the unit.
• Communicate effectively with the healthcare team to promote teamwork.
• Utilize Health First systems for order entry, inquiry, and documentation.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary plans of care based on evidence-based practice.
• Document nursing care and changes in condition in patient records.
• Educate patients and families as directed by the care plan.
• Deliver sensitive, respectful service aligned with patient needs.
