Job summary

Carondelet St. Marys Hospital in Tucson seeks a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in line with policies and protocols. You will coordinate care across disciplines and ensure orders are accurately carried out to support positive patient outcomes.

Required are active Arizona RN licensure, BLS, and at least 1 year of nursing experience; ACLS, PALS, and NRP may be required by department. This inpatient role emphasizes safety, documentation, and patient education.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
• One year of RN experience.
• Arizona Nursing License or compact license and ability to obtain AZ license in 30 days.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or as required by department.

Responsibilities

• Implements and monitors patient care plans; documents and communicates patient condition.
• Acts as primary coordinator of interdisciplinary patient care.
• Carries out physician and nursing orders.
• Coordinates discharge planning with healthcare team.
• Performs comprehensive patient assessments and updates care plans.
• Establishes daily goals with patient and family; plans care and discharge.
