Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice (IL).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Excellent documentation and record-keeping skills.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and patient confidentiality practices.
• Working knowledge of pharmacology and therapies.
• Ability to educate patients on care plans and discharge instructions.
• Experience coordinating multiple medical services.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and deliver nursing care to patients in the facility.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per orders.
• Monitor vital signs, glucose, weights, and tests on-site.
• Triage and prioritize urgent needs during sick calls.
• Maintain infection control and aseptic techniques.
• Document care concisely and timely in official forms.
• Coordinate with practitioners and other services for diagnosis and treatment.
• Supervise and delegate tasks within RN scope of practice.
