Advanced Correctional Healthcare, Inc. seeks a registered nurse to deliver comprehensive nursing care within a correctional facility.

You will assess patients, administer medications, and coordinate care with practitioners and other medical services. The role requires an active RN license in the state of service, BLS certification, excellent documentation, and a solid understanding of the RN scope of practice.

Qualifications

• Active nursing license in the state where services are provided.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; hands-on training.
• Excellent documentation skills.
• Knowledge of the RN scope of practice.

Responsabilités

• Timely and accurately assess, plan, and deliver nursing care to patients.
• Administer prescribed medication, treatments and other tasks as ordered by the practitioner.
• Provide emergency first aid care, when appropriate.
• Check vital signs and other diagnostic tests on-site as appropriate.
• Triage intake screenings for necessity and priority at sick call.
• Record information concisely and accurately in the appropriate forms.
• Collaborate with multiple medical services for diagnosis and treatment.
• Maintain aseptic techniques and infection control precautions.
