Job summary

Wallowa Memorial Hospital is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our patient care team on the night shift in a part-time capacity. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within the Oregon State Board of Nursing scope, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal health outcomes.

Responsibilities include creating individualized care plans, administering medications, monitoring progress, and educating patients and families.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current Oregon RN license required.
  • BLS/CPR certification required or obtainable upon hire.
  • ACLS, PALS and NRP certifications preferred or obtainable upon hire.
  • ER and/or OB experience preferred; willing to orient to both departments.
  • Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in electronic health records and related computer systems.
  • Ability to meet physical and functional requirements.

JOB SUMMARY:

Wallowa Memorial Hospital is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated patient care team. In this role, you will play a critical part in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care through every stage of treatment.

The RN is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of each patient's care plan, working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to promote optimal health outcomes.

All nursing duties must be performed within the RN’s scope of practice as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing.

Registered Nurse - Job Description QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required
