Job summary

Wallowa Memorial Hospital seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our patient care team, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care at every stage of treatment. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care plans within the RN scope of practice as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring progress, coordinating with physicians, educating patients and families, and ensuring safety.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
  • Current Oregon RN license required.
  • BLS/CPR certification required or ability to attain upon hire.
  • ACLS, PALS and NRP certifications preferred or ability to obtain upon hire.
  • ER and/or OB experience preferred, with orientation to both departments.

Job Summary

Wallowa Memorial Hospital is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated patient care team. In this role, you will play a critical part in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care through every stage of treatment.

The RN is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of each patient's care plan, working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to promote optimal health outcomes.

All nursing duties must be performed within the RN’s scope of practice as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required

  • ER and/or OB experience preferred, with a willingness to orient to both departments.
  • Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficient in the use of electronic health records and related computer systems
  • Passion for working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care across diverse populations
  • Ability to meet the physical and functional requirements outlined in the job description
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Successful completion of criminal background check, drug screening and reference checks

Salary Range: $43.45 + DOE + $5.00 Relief + Shift Differentials
