Job summary

Exeter Hospital, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, seeks a registered nurse for our Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) on the day shift. The six-bed unit provides Phase I recovery for over 4000 patients a year, with emphasis on professional nursing care and inter-disciplinary coordination.

You will bring NH RN licensure, at least 1 year PACU or critical care experience, BCLS certification, and CPAN/CAPA if possible; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license - NH state or compact state.
• Minimum 1-year PACU or critical care experience.
• BCLS certified or within 30 days of hire.
• CPAN or CAPA certification preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide Phase I recovery nursing care for post-anesthesia patients in a six-bed PACU.
• Coordinate care planning with other disciplines to ensure patient recovery goals are met.

The Post Anesthesia Care Unit is a six-bed facility that provides Phase I recovery to over 4000 patients a year. Nurses provide professional nursing care and coordinate care planning with other disciplines for patients recovering from anesthesia.
