Spectrum Healthcare Services is seeking a Registered Nurse for the PACU in Granger, IN. This PRN/local contract position focuses on post-anesthesia care in ambulatory surgery settings, with day shifts.

Qualifications include an accredited nursing program graduate, Indiana RN license, and 2+ years PACU experience. BLS and ACLS through AHA are required. Prior ASC experience is preferred. Collaboration with anesthesia and surgical teams is essential.

Responsabilidades

• Provide post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from sedation or general anesthesia in an ambulatory surgery setting.
• Monitor vital signs, oxygen saturation, level of consciousness, and recovery status.
• Maintain a clear and open airway through positioning, suctioning, and oxygen therapy as needed.
• Assess and manage postoperative pain and anesthesia-related side effects.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments during the recovery process.
• Evaluate patient readiness for discharge and provide postoperative instructions to patients and family.
• Communicate patient status and recovery progress with anesthesia providers, surgeons, and clinical staff.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Setting: Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC).
• Job Type: PRN / Per Diem or Local Contract.

Educación

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
