Job summary

Franciscan Health Lafayette East Campus in Lafayette, IN is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team. You will develop and implement care plans, assess patient needs, and provide compassionate, individualized care with 1:1 patient ratios.

We offer a faith-based, mission-driven workplace with minimum start pay of $34/hour, professional development opportunities, and a schedule of 18 hours per week (1:1 shifts) with no weekends and occasional call requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing is required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is preferred
• RN license in state of practice (Indiana)
• BLS from American Heart Association
• ACLS required if unit requires it
• PALS required if unit requires it
• NRP required if unit requires it
• Unit-specific certifications may be required by unit

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care with a focus on comfort and safety
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and improve outcomes

QUALIFICATIONS

• Required Associate’s Degree Nursing/Patient Care
• Preferred Bachelor’s Degree Nursing/Patient Care
• Registered Nurse (RN) - State Licensing Board in state of practice
• Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association Required if required by unit
• Unit Specific Certifications - Franciscan Alliance Required if required by unit
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - American Heart Association Required if required by unit
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - The American Academy of Pediatrics Required if required by unit
