Job summary

Franciscan Health Michigan City Campus is seeking Registered Nurses for a 0.9 FTE Night shift. The unit operates with a 24-bed capacity and a 4:1 patient ratio, offering didactic learning in a fast-paced environment.

Rotating weekends and holidays are required, providing opportunities for professional development within a faith-based mission-driven organization. Licensed RNs with a valid Indiana license or NLC are welcome, including new graduates.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree from an accredited program is required, BSN desirable.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state or as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
• Experienced and new graduate Nurses are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a plan of care, including reassessing and evaluating patient progress.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care and active listening to patients.
