Job summary

Franciscan Alliance is seeking an experienced OR nurse at the Lafayette East Campus in Lafayette, IN. The role focuses on surgery nursing across ortho/spine, vascular, and robotic cases; you will participate in planning, execution, and evaluation of patient care in the operating room.

• Preferred Bachelor’s Degree Nursing/Patient Care.
• RN with State Licensing Board in state of practice.

• Unit Specific Certifications - Franciscan Alliance (required if unit).
• PALS - American Heart Association (required if unit).
• NRP - The American Academy of Pediatrics (required if unit).

• 10 Operating Rooms with a case mix of ortho/spine, vascular/open heart, laparoscopies, robotic hysterectomies, and spinal fusion cases
• We have a .9 Day Weekend Option shift available (3, 12-hour shifts. Saturday & Sundays + 1 day through the week with call rotation) 7a-7:30pm
• 2+ years Operating Room / Surgery experience required

QUALIFICATIONS

• Required Associate’s Degree Nursing/Patient Care
• Preferred Bachelor’s Degree Nursing/Patient Care
• Registered Nurse (RN) - State Licensing Board in state of practice
• Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association Required if required by unit
• Unit Specific Certifications - Franciscan Alliance Required if required by unit
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - American Heart Association Required if required by unit
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - The American Academy of Pediatrics Required if required by unit
