Novant Health's East Cooper Medical Center in Mount Pleasant, SC is seeking a registered nurse for a 12-week seasonal contract in Recovery. You will provide patient-centered care across the lifespan, adhere to standards, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team while floating to similar units as needed.
Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in nursing with active RN licensure in the appropriate state, and possess IV therapy training, BCLS, and ACLS certifications.

Position Type: 12 week seasonal contract
Work Schedule: Three 12 hour shifts with call
Education:4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
Experience:One year relevant experience, preferred.
Licensure/Certification:Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
Successful completion of the nursing service orientation program
Completion of IV Therapy training or demonstration of IV competency within one year
Annual participation in Skills Fair and completion of required competency checklists
Maintains department-specific competencies and/or certifications
BCLS and ACLS certifications required at hire
Advanced certification in specialty field and/or active membership in professional organizations encourage
