SoftPath Medical is seeking qualified travelers for a 12-hour shift schedule in a Level 1 Trauma Center in Indiana. The role involves high-acuity patient care, on-call duties for holidays, and on-site work at a busy facility.
Candidates must hold an IN/Compact license or have fingerprint paperwork in process and possess ACLS, PALS, and BCLS credentials. Expertise in Cerner, Pediatrics, and multiple surgical services is preferred.
3 shifts of 12 hours each, from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM.
Call duty averages 24 hours within a 6-week schedule, with 1 holiday shift required.
Travelers are expected to work or be on call for any holiday occurring during their contract, with 12-24 hours of call per 6-week block.
Candidates must have an active IN/Compact license or have submitted their fingerprint application package to be eligible to apply.
Local travelers residing permanently within Indiana will be offered a rate below the current bill rate.
Average daily census ranges from 65 to 85 patients.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center environment.
Experience with Cerner, Pediatrics, and all surgical services including:
Level 1 trauma center with a Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) open and staffed 24/7.
All specialties are received except for open heart surgery, which is handled directly.
Preference for ICU/PCU experience.
Candidates must be comfortable working in a large, fast-paced facility with high acuity.
The unit frequently receives critical care patients, especially neurological cases.
Effective 11/30/24, registered nurses licensed in Indiana will not be permitted to work at the facility, with exceptions for Perioperative/Operating Room RNs, Allied Health, and Ambulatory RNs.
These exceptions include ENDO, Interventional Radiology RNs, PACU, Cath Lab RNs, and Same Day Surgery (SDS) RNs, who may continue working past the deadline.
