SoftPath Medical seeks an Emergency Department RN for a trauma center travel/per-diem role in Indiana. The candidate must have 3+ years in ED with adult and pediatric patients and be able to float to affiliates as needed.
Active Indiana RN license is required, with ACLS, BCLS, and PALS; NIH and TNCC preferred. Shifts are 12-hour, with charge nurse opportunities, and general ED coverage expectations apply.
This trauma center has 48 beds, expandable up to 62 beds using hall beds if necessary. Staffing ratios are maintained at no more than 1:4 for regular ED patients. Hold assignments may require ratios of 4:1 for progressive holds and 5:1 for medical holds. The emergency department averages 6.6 behavioral health patients daily. Effective November 30, 2024, Indiana RNs will not be permitted to work at this facility, with certain exceptions for perioperative, OR, allied health, and ambulatory RN travelers. These exceptions include roles such as Endoscopy, Interventional Radiology, PACU, Cath Lab, and Same Day Surgery.
