Job summary

Regional West Health Services seeks a Registered Nurse for Outpatient Surgery in Scottsbluff, NE. The RN will provide high-quality nursing care in the NC/Recovery setting, using critical thinking per nursing standards, and delegating care appropriately.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, Nebraska RN license within 60 days, BLS on hire, and ACLS/PALS within 6 months. Relocation and sign-on bonuses may be offered.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• Nebraska RN License must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required upon hire.
• ACLS and PALS required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients, apply clinical interventions, evaluate outcomes, and update the plan of care.
• Adapt to fluctuating workload to maximize patient care and unit effectiveness.
• Maintain staffing flexibility and assist in on-call/availability assignments.

• Remain flexible in staffing patterns, share equitably in meeting on-call /availability assignments, and actively seek resolutions of staffing conflicts.

You may be a good fit if you have:

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing. Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• A compact or State of Nebraska Registered Nurse License; must have NE license within 60 days of hire
• American Heart Association’s BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required upon hire.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required within 6 months of hire or at earliest available course
