Job summary

Franciscan Health Lafayette East Campus in Lafayette, Indiana is seeking a Registered Nurse to support our outpatient services and acute care units. You will listen to patients, assess needs, and develop care plans while delivering compassionate, faith-based orientation.

This role requires an active RN license, BLS, and unit-specific certifications as needed. Typical shift patterns include PRN Days to meet patient care demands.

Qualifications

• Required Associate’s Degree in Nursing; RN license active in state of practice.
• Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS/NRP as unit requires.
• Minimum 5 years if Diploma in Nursing with active RN license and 3–5 years acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide total comprehensive care and develop a plan of care for patients.
• Assess and monitor patient conditions and respond to changes.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to ensure quality outcomes.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Required Associate’s Degree Nursing/Patient Care
• Preferred Bachelor’s Degree Nursing/Patient Care
• 5 years if education is Diploma in Nursing must have active RN license and recent 3-5 years acute care experience Required
• Registered Nurse (RN) - State Licensing Board in state of practice
• Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association Required if required by unit
• Unit Specific Certifications - Franciscan Alliance Required if required by unit
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - American Heart Association Required if required by unit
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - The American Academy of Pediatrics Required if required by unit
