Job summary

Mercyhealth Wisconsin and Illinois is seeking registered nurses to provide compassionate, evidence-based care across our affiliated hospitals and clinics. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, administer treatments, perform assessments, document care, and educate patients and families as part of an individualized care plan.

Must hold RN licensure in state of practice with CPR/BLS certification within 90 days. ADN is required upon hire; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• ADN required upon hire, BSN preferred.
• May require specific years of applicable experience to qualify (per department guidelines)

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process and collaborates with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies and procedures, standards of care, and State laws/practice act.
• Performs assessments, planning, intervention and evaluation of care.
• Documents according to standards of care.
• Develops and executes a patient plan of care including patient and family education.
