Job summary

Ascension is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the General Surgery team at Ascension St. Vincent's Riverside Hospital in Jacksonville, FL. This day shift, full-time role emphasizes safe patient care, staff mentoring, and ongoing clinical improvement.

Qualifications

• ACLS or BLS certification required within specified timeframes from hire date.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Required Credential(s):
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • One or more of the following:
    • Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
    • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.
