Job summary

Endeavor Health in Chicago seeks a Registered Nurse for a full-time role with evening coverage (3p–11:30p) and call requirements. You will deliver high-quality nursing care, follow nursing processes, and contribute to patient and family outcomes.

Hourly Pay Range: $36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Endeavor Health is currently conducting a comprehensive review of our compensation structure. The new minimum for this role will be adjusted to $37.25 base pay hourly rate beginning with the second paycheck in October.

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, diagnosis, plan, implement and evaluate the delivery of nursing care to patients and their families.
• Maintains competency reflective of current standards practice.
• Interacts and contributes to the professional development of peers and colleagues.
• Integrates ethical provisions in all areas of nursing practice.
• Integrates evidence-based practice and research findings into nursing practice.
• Recognizes and adjusts to situations that vary from the norm.
• Promotes safety measures to prevent patient and staff injuries.
• Guides and supervises staff in the provision of patient care.
• Enhances own professional growth and development.
• Maintains a safe therapeutic working environment and recognizes need for action in emergency situations.
• Documentation is thoroughly and timely completed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

What you will need

• Education: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
• Certification/License: IL RN License CPR BLS through American Heart Association ACLS, PALS, NRP through American Heart Association within 90 days of start
• Experience: Prefer at least one year of experience as a staff nurse. Demonstrates mastery of nursing skills. Communicates effectively and if experienced RN, is able to guide and supervise nursing personnel.
• Required: Reliable transportation for floating
