Job summary

Endeavor Health is hiring an RN for Critical Care nights in Arlington Heights, IL. The role offers a 36-hour/week schedule (6pm–6:30am) with every other weekend and eligible for a $15,000 sign-on bonus for RNs with 2+ years ICU experience.

The position requires an Associate's degree or BSN, Illinois nursing licensure, and CPR certification. Comprehensive benefits and competitive pay are provided.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.

• Communicates clearly with patients and team in person, on the phone and in writing.
• Individualizes patient and family teaching to meet learning needs.
• Participates in quality improvement to evaluate nursing practice.

Hourly Pay Range

$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Endeavor Health is currently conducting a comprehensive review of our compensation structure. The new minimum for this role will be adjusted to $37.25 base pay hourly rate beginning with the second paycheck in October.

What you will do

• Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.


• Coordinates patient plan of care to assure interventions are consistent, safe, timely and appropriate.


• Communicates clearly and effectively with all customers, in person, on the phone and in writing.


• Individualizes patient and family teaching based on a thorough assessment to meet their specific learning needs.


• Participates in evaluating quality and effectiveness of nursing practice by participating in quality improvement initiatives.


• Maintains professional knowledge in current nursing practice standards, laws and regulations.

What you will need

• Successful completion of an Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited school of nursing


• Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Illinois


• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association
