Responsibilities

The RN functions as a caregiver, providing effective direct care, overseeing care provided by others, and coordinating patient care among the team. Responsibilities include data collection, assessment, developing and implementing care plans, patient education, medication administration, discharge planning, and continuous evaluation of patient progress.

Qualifications include a minimum of an associate degree in Nursing or a diploma, with a BSN in progress or willing to acquire within three years. Candidates should have at least six months of relevant experience or participate in Hackensack Meridian's Nurse Residency Program. Licenses and certifications required include a NJ RN license and BLS/CPR certification within 60 days of hire.
