Mercyhealth Hospital and Medical Center - Harvard, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse-Operating Room Circulator to join our OR team. The role supports the nursing mission, provides holistic patient care, and collaborates with interdisciplinary colleagues in a fast-paced surgical setting.

The ideal candidate is an ADN-educated RN with state licensure, CPR/BLS within 90 days, and unit-specific certifications like ACLS/PALS as required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Licensed RN in state of practice; CPR/BLS certified within 90 days.
• ACLS/PALS/PEARS/NRP or unit-specific certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications and treatments per nursing standards and policies.
• Documents care according to standards of practice.
• Develops and executes a patient care plan with physician input.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team and participates in quality improvement.
• Escalates safety or patient experience concerns through proper channels.

## Registered Nurse- Operating Room CirculatorApply: Mercyhealth Hospital and Medical Center - Harvard, IL: Full time: Posted Today: 2026-03714**Overview:** Provides compassionate, culturally sensitive, holistic nursing care to patients in a clinical setting, supporting the Mercyhealth nursing mission.**Schedule:** 32 hours per week**Shift:** Monday through Friday, rotating day off each week, flex 8-hour shift between the hours of 5:30am and 5pm. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*** Utilizes the nursing process and collaborates with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients.* Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies and procedures, standards of care, and State laws practice act.* Documents according to standards of care.* Performs assessments, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care.* Develops, initiates, and executes a patient plan of care according to the individualized needs of the patient, as prescribed by Physician and or clinic policy including patient and family instruction.* Participates in department or unit performance improvement activities, may include shared governance.* Utilizes clinical expertise and guidance to other units’ departments in support of the patient’s longitudinal plan of care.* Utilizes critical thinking regarding patient safety and patient experience and appropriately escalates to the appropriate chain of command.* Participates in the professional nursing continuum process, unit practice activities and decisions and peer review process. **EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE**Graduate of an accredited nursing program.ADN required upon hire, BSN preferred.May require specific years of applicable experience to qualify (per department guidelines) **CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE**Licensed as an RN in state of practiceApproved CPR/BLS certification required within 90 daysOther certification(s) per unit requirements.
