Job summary

SoftPath Medical is seeking an Operating Room Nurse on a contract basis. The role features four 10-hour days, 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM, with 72 hours biweekly and call as needed, plus weekend rotations every six weeks and holiday coverage.

The facility is a hospital with multiple OR suites; orientation lasts one week and only in-hours scrubs are allowed. MA RN license, BLS/ACLS, EPIC EMR experience and CNOR preferred are required.

Qualifications

• BLS-AHA certification required at hire.
• Current MA nursing license.
• Experience with EPIC EMR system.
• ACLS-AHA certification required.
• Strong background in orthopedic, spine and robotics cases.
• CNOR certification preferred.
• Must scrub and circulate during procedures.

Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate during operative procedures.
• Assist in orthopedic, spine and robotics cases as assigned.
• Support call duty, weekend rotation and holiday coverage as needed.

Operating Room Nurse - Contract Position

Work Schedule and Hours

Guaranteed contract hours: 72 hours biweekly on all assignments - guaranteed hours exclude any on-call time worked.Work schedule consists of four 10-hour days, from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM.Weekend rotation occurs every six weeks as needed.Call duties as required.Holiday coverage required once during summer or winter as needed.

Facility and Orientation

The hospital has 209 beds and 11 operating room suites. One week of orientation is provided. Only in-hours scrubs are permitted. Applicants must have been separated from the hospital system for at least six months to be considered. Local candidates will not be accepted.
