Job summary

Millennium Ambulatory Surgery Center in Greenville, SC, is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse to provide direct perioperative patient care, support surgeons and anesthesia, and ensure safety and comfort throughout procedures.

The role requires an active RN license with BLS/ACLS, an associate degree or higher in nursing, and OR experience preferred in Orthopedics/ENT. Monday–Friday schedule with no nights or weekends. Competitive hourly pay and benefits offered.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain a safe, sterile, and efficient operating environment.
• Assess patient needs, provide reassurance, and involve families in care decisions when appropriate.
• Collaborate with the surgical team and communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and colleagues.
• Support patient safety, risk management, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Participate in staff education, orientation, and professional development.
• Organize and manage supplies, equipment, and staff for effective case management.

Millennium Surgery Center i s an ambulatory surgery center located in Greenville, SC. With six operating rooms, the center delivers high-quality, cost-effective outpatient surgical and procedural care, specializing in ENT, Orthopedics (total joint procedures), Pain Management, and Spine.

Owned and operated in partnership with BSMH and Compass Surgical Partners, the center combines advanced technology with compassionate, patient-centered care in a convenient setting.

Role Summary:
The Operating Room RN provides direct patient care and serves as a patient advocate in the operating room. This role supports surgeons and anesthesia providers, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and dignity throughout the perioperative process.

Hours:

• Monday–Friday schedule

• No nights, weekends, holidays, or call

What You’ll Do:

What You’ll Bring:

• Active RN license

• Associate’s degree or higher in nursing

Physical & Work Environment Requirements:

• Frequent standing, walking, and lifting

• Occasional stooping, kneeling, or climbing

• Regular interaction with patients of all ages in a fast-paced surgical environment

• Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs (occasionally up to 100 lbs) and meet physical demands of the role
