Job summary

Compass Surgical Partners' St. Francis Ambulatory Surgery Center in Midlothian, VA is seeking a Registered Nurse to support pre-op, PACU, and stepdown care.

The RN will assess patients, deliver individualized nursing care, monitor recovery, and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient procedures and optimal outcomes. This PRN, on-site role offers Monday through Friday daytime hours with competitive pay and benefits, plus opportunities for ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Current RN license (unencumbered).
• At least 1 year of pre-op/PACU nursing experience (within last 3–5 years).
• Current BLS (ACLS required within 6 months).
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.

St. Francis Ambulatory Surgery Center is an ASC located in Midlothian, VA. With two operating rooms and one procedure room, the center will provide high-quality, cost-effective outpatient surgical care across multiple specialties.

Owned and operated in partnership with BSMH and Compass Surgical Partners (an ASC management organization), the center will combine advanced technology with compassionate, patient-centered care in a convenient outpatient setting.

Targeting Hire date of 1/4/2027

Role Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) supports pre-op, PACU, and stepdown patient care. This position is responsible for assessing patients, delivering individualized nursing care, monitoring recovery, and collaborating with the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient procedures and optimal outcomes.

Hours: PRN, during Monday-Friday day shift

What You’ll Do

What You’ll Bring
