Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Detroit is seeking an experienced registered nurse to join the hospital team as a full-time night-shift provider.

You will lead nursing teams, apply evidence-based practice, and partner with patients and families to deliver high-quality care on a 36-hour weekly schedule with 12-hour midnight shifts and rotating weekends.

BSN preferred; current Michigan RN license and BCLS certification required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.
• Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.
• Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team.
• Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.
• 36-hour per week night-shift schedule with 12-hour shifts and rotating weekends/holidays.

Job Description
