Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Detroit, MI seeks an experienced registered nurse to join the team. You will provide high-quality patient care, participate in quality assurance activities, and contribute to evidence-based nursing practice within the Henry Ford Hospital Professional Nurse Practice Model.

The role supports 36 hours per week, with Day shift 12-hour blocks, and requires strong communication skills, clinical knowledge, and the ability to collaborate with patients, families, and the care team.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
  • Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
  • Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.

Responsibilities

  • Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.
  • Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.
  • Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team.
  • Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.

Certifications/Licensures Required


  • Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.

  • Health care provider certification (BCLS).
