Job summary

Manchester Memorial Hospital, Inc. is seeking a registered nurse to provide high quality direct and indirect patient-centered care using the nursing process.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and communicate the patient’s condition, ensuring timely responses to changes in status. You will deliver age-appropriate care across the life span and promote the nursing profession through supportive interactions, reporting to the Clinical Nurse Manager.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Nursing with a current licensure in the State of Connecticut.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required upon hire or within orientation period.
• Graduate Nurse applicants must pass NCLEX by 90 days of graduation date.

Utilizing the nursing process, provides high quality direct and indirect patient –centered care.

Coordinates patient care by working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team.

Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and the skills necessary to provide age appropriate care to the patient population served.

Promotes the profession of nursing and professional practice through collegial support and interactions. Reports to the Clinical Nurse Manager.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Nursing with a current licensure in the State of Connecticut.Must have certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support upon hire or receive certification within the new employee introductory orientation period and maintain clinical competency during employment.Graduate Nurse applicants must pass NCLEX by 90 days of graduation date.
