Precision-Healthcare seeks an RN – Oncology / Chemotherapy in LaBelle, PA for a 13‑week assignment. The role involves days, 40 hours weekly, with potential overtime based on patient load. You will administer oral and IV chemotherapy, monitor patients, and coordinate care with onsite physicians.

Requirements include an active PA RN license and recent oncology chemotherapy experience, including oral or IV forms. AHA BLS certification is required, and travel/local candidates are welcome.

Qualifications

• Willing to work in a correctional healthcare environment.

Responsabilités

• Provide oncology nursing care and administer chemotherapy as ordered.
• Assess patient needs and assist with individualized treatment plans.
• Administer medications per protocols and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Obtain specimens, perform EKGs, and assist with procedures as required.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and communicate with the care team.
• Adhere to infection control and security procedures in the facility.

Job Title: RN – Oncology / Chemotherapy

Location: LaBelle, Pennsylvania

Rate: Up to $2,000 Gross Weekly + benefits available from day 1

Shift: Days, Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–3:00 PM. Flexibility required based on patient load. Overtime may be available.

Contract: 13 weeks

Hours: 40 hours per week

Requirements:

• Current, unencumbered Pennsylvania RN license
• Recent oncology experience within the past 5–7 years, including chemotherapy administration. Experience may be limited and can include oral or IV chemotherapy.
• Willing and able to work in a correctional healthcare environment
• Able to meet the physical demands of the position, including lifting, pushing, pulling, standing, walking, and assisting patients as needed
• No prior corrections experience required
• Local and travel candidates accepted

Certifications: AHA BLS required

Responsibilities:

• Provide oncology nursing care and administer oral and IV chemotherapy in coordination with the onsite physician
• Assess patients’ physical, psychological, and social needs and assist with individualized treatment planning
• Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders, established protocols, and safety procedures
• Monitor patients for medication reactions and respond to medical emergencies
• Obtain specimens, perform EKGs, and assist with medical procedures as needed
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and communicate patient information to the healthcare team
• Follow infection control, medication safety, and correctional facility security procedures
