Origin Travel Nurses seeks an Inpatient Chemo Certified RN for night shift on a 5th Floor Med/Oncology unit in Florida. You will care for medical and chemotherapy patients, administering chemo per protocol and ensuring high quality patient care.

Requirements include an active FL or Compact RN license, chemo certification (ONS/ONCC), and BLS. Epic charting experience is preferred; 13-week contract with night hours (19:00–07:00).

Inpatient Chemo Certified RN - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00.

Job Description

The Inpatient Chemo Certified RN will work on the 5th Floor Med/Oncology Unit, caring for both medical and chemotherapy patients. This role requires expertise in providing high-quality patient care, with a focus on chemotherapy administration. Candidates must hold a current FL or Compact RN license and have chemotherapy certification as per ONS/ONCC guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and other medical treatments to patients.
• Monitor patient vitals and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Document patient care in Epic charting system.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an inpatient unit, especially in oncology nursing.
• Chemo certification (ONS/ONCC) required; certificate must be submitted with profile.
• BLS certification required.
• Current FL or Compact RN license is mandatory.
• Epic charting experience preferred.
