Job summary

Roper St. Francis Healthcare is seeking a registered nurse who will deliver patient care using the nursing process, assess and prioritize patient needs, and coordinate care with the health team.

The role involves patient teaching and medication administration in accordance with state regulations and policies. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality care and participate in ongoing quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Requires BLS Basic Life Support, American Heart Association, at hire for RSFH locations; may be required prior to independent patient care at some sites.
• Valid nursing license in the state of practice is required.
• Associate degree or diploma in nursing is required; BSN is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care using the nursing process, including data collection, assessment and prioritization of patient needs.
• Coordinate and direct patient teaching activities and care provided by the health team.
• Administer medications safely in line with state practice and organizational policies.
