Job summary

Hartford HealthCare Medical Group is seeking an Office-Based Registered Nurse to provide skilled nursing care in a variety of clinical settings under provider direction. You will use the nursing process to assess, plan, intervene and evaluate patient needs with established protocols.

You will triage calls, support patients and families with empathy, and ensure continuity of care with the practice manager. CT RN license is required; prior medical/surgical office experience and familiarity with

Qualifications

• Current Connecticut RN License required.
• Previous experience in Medical/Surgical Office setting preferred.
• Experience with medical software

Responsibilities

• Provides office-based nursing care in collaboration with provider.
• Assesses physical and psychosocial needs of patients and families; plans and evaluates nursing care.
• Demonstrates independent nursing actions based on assessment and problem identification.
• Triages telephone calls and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
• Respects confidentiality and privacy while assisting patients and families.
