Job summary

Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center in North Carolina is seeking a dedicated RN for our Family Care Unit (Nursery) night shift. You will provide comprehensive nursing care to healthy and at-risk newborns during transition, stabilization, hospitalization, and discharge, ensuring a safe, personalized birth experience.

Collaborating with OB providers, midwives, and interdisciplinary teams, you will monitor maternal and fetal status, educate families, and advocate for individualized birth plans

Qualifications

• RN licensure in appropriate state required.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required.
• If RN license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and not licensed in another state during last five years, complete a Board approved refresher course prior to reactivating license.

• Schedule: 7 pm - 7 am, Night Shift, Full-Time
• Department: Family Care Unit (Nursery)
• Location: Brunswick Medical Center
• Skills: Seeking Level II NICU Experience to support our youngest Neonates

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

• Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
• Experience: One year relevant experience, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
