Job summary

Responsibilities include delivering safe patient-centered care, monitoring conditions, administering meds, coordinating with the care team, and documenting in the EMR. Required RN license, BLS; ACLS within 30 days is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS certification required at hire and maintained.
• ACLS certification within 30 days of hire and maintained preferred.
• Acute care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator management experience preferred.
• BSN degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate, patient-centered nursing care.
• Assess, monitor, and evaluate patient conditions, reporting changes promptly to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and treatments in accordance with provider orders and hospital policies.
• Coordinate and collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members.
• Assist with procedures, diagnostics, patient stabilization, and other department-specific clinical interventions.
• Operate and monitor clinical equipment appropriate to the assigned department.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Promote patient safety, quality outcomes, infection prevention, and regulatory compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
