Job summary

ProMedica is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Monroe Regional Hospital Acute Care unit. You will provide patient-centered care, coordinate the plan of care, and work with the health care team to improve health outcomes for patients and communities served.

You will assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate care, collaborating with nurses and staff to reach patient care goals while focusing on patient and staff satisfaction and ongoing improvement.

Qualifications

• Current State license as a Registered Nurse.
• Current CPR training. Specialty certifications as required by individual nursing units.
• The RN in Ohio must complete twenty-four contact hours of continuing education during licensure period; at least 1 hour related to Ohio nurse practice code and rules.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care by assessing needs, formulating nursing diagnosis, and planning, implementing, and evaluating care.
• Communicate with patients, families and health care team to ensure mutual respect and shared decision-making.
• Collaborate with fellow nurses and support staff to achieve patient care goals and improve patient and staff satisfaction.
