Job summary

Pardee UNC Health Care in North Carolina is seeking a Clinical Nurse for the Orthopedics unit. You will coordinate and deliver patient care using the nursing process in a hospital setting, reporting to Nurse Manager/Director. This is a 36-hour weekly, night shift, onsite role with a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

Required NC (or compact) RN license and BLS; ACLS training is offered. Preferred 1 year in acute inpatient care; teamwork and safety are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed to practice as an RN in NC or a compact state by the day of clinical care.
• BLS certification required.
• One year of RN experience in acute/inpatient care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers patient care under physician supervision and collaborates with the care team.
• Documents plan of care, care provided, and patient response.
• Organizes and prioritizes care, communicates with resources as needed.
• Collaborates with peers to foster intra/interdepartmental communication.
• Assesses and plans for discharge needs and safety considerations.
