Job summary

Pardee UNC Health Care in North Carolina is seeking a Clinical Nurse to coordinate and deliver patient care in a hospital setting, reporting to the Nurse Manager/Director. Night shift, 36 hours per week, onsite.

You will administer patient care under physician direction, document the plan of care, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to achieve patient outcomes. A valid NC RN license and BLS are required; ACLS may be required for some units.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina or a compact state by the day of clinical care.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• One year of experience in an acute care / inpatient hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers patient care under the direction of a physician and collaborates with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Reports and records the plan for care, nursing care given, and patient response.
• Provides competent clinical nursing care in line with policies and procedures.
• Organizes and prioritizes care according to patient/family needs and discharges planning.
• Collaborates with peers to foster intra/interdepartmental communication.
• Assesses data to determine priorities for care and discharge needs.
