Job summary

Pardee UNC Health Care is seeking a Clinical Nurse for the ICU unit. Reporting to the Nurse Manager/Director, you will coordinate and deliver patient care using the nursing process in a hospital setting.

A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available for qualified RNs as part of our commitment to skilled nursing professionals. Responsibilities include administering care under physician direction, documenting plans and responses, and collaborating with the care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina or a compact state by the day of clinical care.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• ACLS certification preferred or required as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Administers patient care under physician direction and collaborates with the care team.
• Documents care plans, nursing care provided, and patient responses.
• Delivers competent nursing care aligned with policies and standards.
• Organizes care prioritizing patient/family needs and coordinates discharge planning.
• Collaborates with peers to foster intra/interdepartmental communication.
• Synthesizes data to determine care priorities and discharge needs.
• Communicates with patients/families to update the care plan with cultural sensitivity.
