Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse licensed in Minnesota and current in MN RN registration.
• CPR certification and emergency care training required.
• Experience in skilled nursing and/or assisted living facilities preferred.
• Completion of an approved nursing education program per Minnesota Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Gathers data, assesses resident health, and develops individualized Plans of Care.
• Oversees nursing staff and coordinates care with CNAs and other personnel.
• Ensures care aligns with Minnesota BON standards, HIPAA, and Residents’ Bill of Rights.
• Performs RN tasks such as IV and related specialized nursing care, within scope.
• Maintains documentation, infection control, and safety standards.
• Leads staffing, shift reports, and participates in emergency procedures.

Education

Completion of a professional nursing education program approved by the Minnesota Board of Nursing
