Bridgton Hospital in Bridgton, Maine is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for the Medical-Surgical Unit, night shift 1900-0730. Compensation ranges from $36.00 to $49.16 per hour, with final starting pay determined at hire.

New Graduate RNs are eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus; experienced RNs with 2+ years of acute care can receive up to $20,000. Sign-on terms are discussed during the interview process.

Formación

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS certification upon hire and maintained.
• ACLS certification preferred within 30 days of hire.
• Acute care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice. The Registered Nurse also directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care within the Medical/Surgical Unit. The Registered Nurse is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to his/her assigned patients. He / She communicates with physician about changes in the patient’s clinical condition including cardiac monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current preferred.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Pay Transparency

Bridgton Hospital offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $36.00 to $49.16. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
