Job summary

Central Maine Medical Center Inc is seeking a Registered Nurse for Medical-Surgical units across Bridgton Hospital, Rumford Hospital, and our main campus in Maine. The role offers 3 x 12-hour shifts with day and night options and a pay range of $36.00-$49.16 per hour, plus sign-on bonuses for qualified candidates.

You will deliver safe patient care using the nursing process, collaborate with physicians, and provide patient and family teaching.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current preferred.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of safe patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Direct patient care within the scope of practice.
• Directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
• Communicates with physician about changes in patient condition and test results.
• Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice. The Registered Nurse also directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care within the Medical/Surgical Unit. The Registered Nurse is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to his/her assigned patients. He / She communicates with physician about changes in the patient‘s clinical condition including cardiac monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.

Pay Transparency

Central Maine Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $36.00-$49.16.
