3 North (3N) is made up of 30 private telemetry beds which is unique to our Medicare Designated Hospital setting. Being the largest inpatient unit at UH St. John, we care for higher acuity patients and have a longer length of stay. Common diagnoses include Pneumonia, sepsis, stroke, infections, diabetes, renal failure, respiratory failure, chest pain, gastrointestinal complications, overdoses and psychiatric needs. Position Responsibilities
Education Requirements
Diploma RN, Associate or Bachelor's Degree of Nursing from an accredited program.
License & Certification Requirements
An Ohio RN license is not required to be considered for this position. If selected to move forward, employment offers may be made contingent on candidate successfully obtaining RN license within time frame discussed at the time of offer acceptance.
Current BLS Provider Certification, issued by the American Heart Association, must be obtained during Nursing Orientation.
Note: Education and degree verification will be required upon receiving a job offer.
Preferred Qualifications
BSN preferred.
Prior experience on a related unit or specialty in a practicum, internship or STNA/PCNA/NAII is preferred.
