UChicago Medicine AdventHealth is hiring an RN to assess patients’ physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs and to develop care plans with the interdisciplinary team. The role covers Neurology clinic needs and may travel to clinics in Bolingbrook, Carol Stream, and Woodridge.
The position requires an RN license and BLS certification, with 1+ year medical office experience and 5+ years critical care preferred. Schedule is Monday–Friday, day shift, with potential 10-hour shifts.

Job Description: Location: 908 Elm Street, Hinsdale, IL (will travel to clinics in Bolingbrook, Carol Stream, Woodridge) Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30a-5p (possibility of 10-hour shifts) Will cover for Neurology Clinic as needed
Assesses patients' physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interviews, and review of medical records and clinical data. Develops and implements patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, observing outcomes in accordance with nursing standards. Demonstrates competency in therapeutic and diagnostic interventions, including IVs, wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collection. Advocates for and protects the health, safety, and rights of each patient. Provides patient and family education based on assessment of learning readiness, needs, and ability, and evaluate the effectiveness of teaching. Encourages patient engagement in healthcare through motivational interviewing, self-management protocols, and teach-back methodology. Delivers relationship‑based care, engaging patients in all aspects of care with respect for cultural differences and diversity. Delegates tasks to non‑RN personnel in accordance with State Board of Nursing and hospital policy. Other duties as assigned.

Pay Range: $31.91 - $51.06
