Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, IL is seeking a Staff Nurse (RN) for the Neuro Intermediate unit (3B) with 24 beds, providing care for acute neurological and spine disorders. Shift: Full Time 7:00 pm–7:30 am with rotating weekends.

The role emphasizes patient- and family-centered care, collaboration with the health team, and adherence to ANA standards while delivering safe, evidence-based nursing practice. A BSN and IL RN license are required.

The salary range for this position is $34.50 - $55.20 (Hourly Rate). Placement within the salary range is dependent on several factors, including relevant work experience and internal equity. For positions represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range is guided by the rules outlined in the collective bargaining agreement.

CDH Neuro Intermediate (3B) – 24‑bed neurosciences unit providing care to patients requiring medical and surgical treatment of acute neurological and spine disorders. Neurological conditions include acute and stable traumatic brain injury, subarachnoid hemorrhage, stroke, spinal injury, seizure, and acute inflammation or infections of the CNS. Neurosurgical patients include aneurysm repair, CS leaks & lumbar drains, post‑op neurosurgical and spinal patients. We are proud to be in the country’s top decile of patient satisfaction.

The Staff Nurse Inpatient reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards. A clinically competent, registered, professional nurse who prescribes, delegates and coordinates nursing care to the acutely ill patient through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation and evaluation. Effectively interacts with patient, significant others, and other health team members, while maintaining ANA standards of professional nursing practice.
