Job summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to lead and coordinate quality patient care across units in Michigan. You will apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care and teaching for patients and families.

The role requires strong teamwork, clinical competence, and independent collaboration with principal investigators as needed. A current Michigan RN license and BLS/ACLS per HFHS policy are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; Bachelor degree preferred.
• Successful completion of HFMG Pharmacology test.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Michigan; BLS/ACLS per policy.

Qualifications

Education/Experience Required

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Bachelor Degree preferred.
• Successful completion of HFMG Pharmacology test.
• Certification will be required when it is a regulatory requirement in the State of Michigan or a documented community standard, i.e., Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN).
• Maintains and demonstrates current clinical knowledge in area of specialty. Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and medical group personnel.
• Preferred experience in the specialty. Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills.

Certifications/LICENSURES REQUIRED

• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse. Current BLS or ACLS per HFHS policy.
